2010/2011 SKGSL BOARD
SKGSL is one of the largest girls’ softball organizations which requires a tremendous amount of community support. This support is received in several ways. Monetary support is received by friends, family members and business owners of our community. SKGSL also has multiple volunteers working on several fronts to keep SKGSL ready to play ball.
Softball Tournaments are planned, organized and implemented with SKGSL volunteers. Volunteers are the heart and soul of our League. Over the past fifteen years our organization has donated over $200,000 to The Ronald McDonald House of Houston. The Ronald McDonald House of Houston offers a home away from home for families that have children being treated at a Texas Medical Center institution for cancer or other serious illnesses. In addition to donations, this charity event has become a nationally known tournament that college coaches from across the nation attend, looking for players who will fit into their college softball program.
SKGSL is helping build character in each young lady that plays on our fields. Research shows that girls who participate in organized sports have more self esteem, score higher on standardized test, and make better grades. Our league is committed to the development of your child for future success through fun and competition!
Volunteers continue to be the heart and soul of Spring-Klein Girls Softball. Please help our organization by becoming an active volunteer.
Ask any SKGSL Board member how you too can be a part of the fun!!
