May I bring my pet to Collins Park?  Any person bringing a dog or domestic cat into Collins Park shall keep the dog or domestic cat confined to a vehicle or secured by a leash not exceeding six (6) feet in length. No person may bring into or possess in Collins Park any animal other than a dog or domestic cat

How do you get started in softball?   Everyone is welcome at SKGSL.  Our league offers recreational and competitive teams for girls. Whether a player wants to learn  a new sport, have a way to have fun with friends, or as a path to a college scholarship, SKGSL has a place for them.

What Forms of payment does SKGSL accept?   Cash and checks.

What equipment do we need?  The league provides helmets, bats, and balls.  You will need to have shoes and a glove.

What age do you have to be to play fall ball?  For 6U they have to be 5 as of January 1st of the next year.  Example:  If your daughter's birth day is December 20th and she will be turning 5 then, she is eligible to play 6U.  If your daughter's birth day is February 20th and she will be turning 5 then, she is not eligible.

When is the next time that I can register my daughter? If your daughter is turning 5 after January 1st then your next opportunity to register for softball is at  our closing ceremonies held at the end of May.

When is fall registration? The first opportunity for registration is at the closing ceremonies for Spring.  Closing ceremonies are held at the end of May.  Be sure to visit our schedule page for times and dates.

When does fall ball begin?  Fall season starts after Labor Day and runs through the last week of October.  Team placement is determined by player's age as of January 1st for the upcoming year. Fall season is instructional and non-competitive, therefore no placement trophies will be handed out at the end of the season however all players will receive a participation medal.

Can I get a refund?  If your daughter is unable play we will refund your money.  However, refunds will not be issued until after the season begins. All that you need to do is send an email to registration with your daughter's name and age.
